Up to two children under 5 years of age, if accompanied by an adult or concessionary pass holder, travel free. Children aged 5 - 15 years travel at half the adult fare, except where otherwise shown.
The driver may ask for proof of age if a child looks older than 15, in which case some form of ID (showing the child's date of birth) must be presented in order to get this reduced fare. If the child does not have any proof of age, a Network Warrington U-16 Travel ID card is available free of charge from the Travel Centre at Warrington Interchange. Children will need to take two passport size photographs and proof of age (eg. birth certificate) to the Travel Centre and provide their name and address to get this card. We recommend that anyone aged between 12 and 15 apply for an under 16s travel card.
Students are entitled to a discount on Touch & Go! tickets. If you are aged 11 - 19 you are entitled to this discount, however it only applies up until your 20th birthday. For example, if you are aged 19 years, 10 months you may not buy an annual student ticket as you are only eligible for another 2 months.
